Description

Kleftiko beef from Greek farms, ready in a cooking bag (approximately 1.5 kg).

The bag contains pieces of Regato cheese, fresh red peppers, and a spice marinade.

Ideal for oven roasting—simply place in a preheated oven at 180°C for 70-80 minutes until tender and flavorful.

For a rich result, use alternatives like beef eye of round, neck, or shoulder and add a cheese blend (e.g., feta, kefalotyri).
Marinate the meat with mustard, oil, and herbs the night before for intense flavor.
Let the dish rest for 10-15 minutes before serving to allow the juices to settle.
For an even more authentic taste, cook it in a wood-fired oven or enhance the flavor with additional wine and parchment paper.

Slow-roast in a Dutch oven, clay pot, or baking bag with beef chunks, potatoes, tomato, onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
Add herbs (bay leaves, oregano, thyme) and season with salt and pepper.
Seal the vessel tightly to trap juices and cook at low temperature (150–170°C) for 5–7 hours until the meat is fall-apart tender and flavors meld perfectly.
